There's this rest stop on US-84 that overlooks the caprock of Post, Texas. I was there in November of 2013, drawn to the modern A-frame design of the cover blocking that midday sun.

A new city
These images were taken in early 2002, and are the few that I've scanned from that time. The composition and contents were heavily influenced by the French designer Arnaud Mercier' and his 99 Covers. It was that series and his work, that inspired my interest in documenting cities.

Red Rock Field Trip
Take route 159 to Scenic Loop Dr, and your in this area of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. We arrived on a Monday, with an hour before sunset.
An Afternoon in Central Park (Jan. 2015)
The sun was dropping fast. It was after 3 o'clock in the afternoon (1-10-2015), and we had an hour to make a run through Central Park to capture a short narrative.
Red Rock Scout
We (AC) had a 48-hour shoot production in Las Vegas, the first week in January. The Friday before production began (1/2/2015), Tim Leeds, Nick Kova, and I drove out to the Red Rock Canyon to capture some time-lapse of the sunrise. The morning was very cold.

It was an early morning at the Réveille Coffee Co (8-21-2014). I had arrived shortly after 7:30AM, to document the range of people in the neighborhood using the space.

Chartres, France is located 60 mi (96 km) southwest of Paris. This day began in the Marché aux Légumes, the local market (5-3-2014).
