The sun was dropping fast. It was after 3 o’clock in the afternoon (1-10-2015), and we had an hour to make a run through Central Park to capture a short narrative. What you see in Nick Kova’s hands is an anamorphic lens attachment to an 85mm. With the temperature dropping, the process of dialing in our distance for focus became more difficult. The oils began to freeze. I also had a camera, which became a part of this narrative (link to come). Some of these images were taken on cue per Kova’s direction.
